Tuesday, November 3, 2026 is a remote day for all New York City schools. Instruction will be from 8am- 12:10pm

Students should email their teacher if there is a problem accessing either the Google Classroom or Google Meet. 

If students need support with classes, from 12:40 - 1:25 PM, teachers will provide links to the students.

ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL: IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE STUDENTS, ABSENCE SHOULD BE KEРТ ТО А MINIMUM. PARENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PLAN VACATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SCHOOL VACATIONS AND TO SCHEDULE DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL HOURS. IF A STUDENT IS GOING TO BE REMOVED FROM THE SCHOOL FOR 5 OR MORE DAYS. THE PARENT MUST COME TO THE MAIN OFFICE TO SIGN A LONG-TERM ABSENCE FORM. VACATIONS DURING SCHOOL INSTRUCTION WILL NOT BE EXCUSED AND ARE STRONGLY DISCOURAGED.

LEAVING SCHOOL EARLY: UNLESS IT IS AN UNFORESEEN EMERGENCY, STUDENTS SHOULD NOT ВЕ РICКED UP EARLY. NOT ONLY ARE THEY MISSING INSTRUCTION TIME, IT CAUSES DISRUPTION TO THE ENTIRE CLASS AND TEACHER. IF A STUDENT MUST BE PICKED UP EARLY, A WRITTEN NOTE MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE TEACHER STATING THE REASON AND TIME OF PICK UP.

Brooklyn Collegiate Uniform Policy

At Brooklyn Collegiate we are a uniform policy school. Each cohort or grade is assigned a specific color shirt as their uniform that must have the Brooklyn Collegiate emblem on the shirt. Uniforms consist of their designated cohort or class color, black or khaki pants, and black shoes. At no point should students attend school wearing ripped, loose, or baggy pants. It is mandatory for the students to wear their uniforms every day to school. Below are the colors for each grade or cohort and the website to purchase our school's uniform. 

9th Grade  Freshmen Class: Black

10th Grade Sophomore Class: Maroon

11th Grade Junior Class: Gray

12th Grade Senior Class: Heather Gray
